March 2108 Update
We’re done! After almost a year of construction the new ministry space funded by our Stacking Stones campaign is complete. Almost four years ago this whole process started when our Building Improvements Team identified the significant needs in our again campus, specifically the need for more and better space for our elementary children. Two years ago we held a capital campaign and asked people to sacrificially give over a three year period. We received 516 pledges for a total of $2,677,167. We designed a plan to stay within our available budget and were able to add new space to our children’s ministry area as well as significantly renovate a large section of existing space. We also added a new community room, renovated bathrooms, opened up a new hub gathering space and connected the Leonard Hall and Sanctuary buildings with an enclosed hallway. Construction is finished and the new space is amazing. Check out our latest video to see some of the new space.
The building may be done but the campaign is still going. Our 3-year pledge commitment goes until June of 2019. Thank you for continuing to fulfill those pledges. If you made a one-time gift at the beginning of the project and wish to contribute again we would welcome your participation. If you’re new to Village Seven or didn’t make an original pledge and want to jump in for the final year you can give by clicking the online commitment tab or contacting the church office.
If you have any questions about the project, capital campaign, current finances or anything else please use the Contact Us form and we’ll make sure you get the information you need.
